  • Cleanse it periodically (once a month or once in 2–3 months) with lukewarm water and apply a light coat of almond or coconut oil with a soft brush.

  • Women can wear Rudraksha during their menstrual cycle; there are no restrictions mentioned in our scriptures; however, it depends on your personal beliefs & faith.

Dont’s:

  • Don’t share or wear a Rudraksha Mala used by someone else.

  • One may remove the Rudraksha mala while consuming non-vegetarian food or alcohol and wear it again afterwards. However, this depends on personal belief, as scriptures also state that Rudraksha can be worn at all times without restrictions.

  • Remove it during sexual intercourse and while visiting funeral grounds,this depends on personal belief.

  • Remove before bathing, as soap can dry out the bead. Wear it again afterwards.
